本店見学について、よく寄せられる質問と、その回答をご案内いたします。

The following are frequently asked questions and answers about the BOJ tour. English follows Japanese.

（見学内容等について）

Q．建物の中を自由に見て回る見学ですか。
A．ガイド付きの見学です。

Q．見学の参加には、料金はかかりますか。
A．無料です。

（予約受付について）

Q．1回あたりの定員は、何名ですか。対象は小学何年生からですか。
A．各回の定員は、20名（先着順）です。
対象は、小学校5年生以上の方（ただし小学生は保護者の同伴が必要）です。
4年生以下および未就学児は入館できません。

Q．定員（20名）以上の予約は受付けていますか。
A．定員を超える予約は、受付けておりません。
各回の定員（20名）を超える場合は、日時を分けてご予約ください。

Q．修学旅行等の団体予約は受付けていますか。また、予約受付の開始は、いつからですか。
A．予約は、個人、団体を問わず各回20名（先着順）としております。
予約の受付開始は、一律、見学希望日の90日前からです。

Q．予約したい人数が増えたが、既に定員に達しています。該当回の見学人数を増やしてもらえませんか。
A．既に定員に達している場合には、増やすことはできません。

Q．土曜日や日曜日は見学できますか。
A．見学日は、毎週月曜日～金曜日となります。ただし、祝日、年末年始（12月29日～1月4日）を除きます。
また、日本銀行の業務等の事情により、見学案内を実施しないことがあります。

Q．見学参加者は、どのようにお伝えすればよいですか。
A．見学参加者は、極力、予約サイト（システム）から入力するようにお願いします。何らかの事情で入力できない場合には、日本銀行ホームページから書式をダウンロード（docx、pdf）してご利用ください。

Q．見学参加者リストの書式を用いる場合、どこに提出すればよいでしょうか。
A．見学参加者リストは、下記の宛先へFAX、E-mailまたは郵送でお送りください。

Q．予約が完了したのに、予約完了メールが送られてきません。
A．迷惑メールＢＯＸ等で受信されていないか、今一度、ご確認ください。
予約の変更やキャンセルを行う場合、予約完了メールが必要となりますので、見学担当までお電話（03-3277-2815＜毎週月曜日～金曜日の9:30～16:30、ただし、祝日、年末年始＜12月29日～1月4日＞を除く＞）で、ご連絡ください。

（予約の変更・キャンセルについて）

Q．予約の締め切りは、何日前ですか。
A．予約日の原則5日前までとなります。
ただし、4日以上連続する休業日明けの見学については、予約締め切り日が5日前より早まる場合があります。
そうした特定の日については、本店見学予約サイトでご案内します。


Q．予約日程、見学人数や見学者参加者名など予約を変更したい場合や、予約をキャンセルしたい場合、どうすればよいですか。
A．予約日5日前までは、
（１）予約完了時に受信したメール内の「申込者予約確認ページ」にアクセスしてください。
（２）予約完了時に受信したメールに記載の「予約ID」を入力してください。
次に、変更・キャンセルには、「確認コード」が必要になりますので、確認コード送付先の「メールアドレス」を入力後、「送信する」ボタンをクリックしてください。
（３）（２）で指定したメールアドレスで受信した「確認コード」を入力し、次に、「変更する」または「キャンセルする」ボタンをクリックしてください。「変更」の場合、新たな日程のご予約や見学人数の変更が可能になります。見学参加者の氏名の登録や変更もできます。
　　
予約日4日前～当日までは、見学担当（03-3277-2815＜毎週月曜日～金曜日の9:30～16:30、ただし、祝日、年末年始＜12月29日～1月4日＞を除く＞）へお電話でご連絡ください。

（駐車場について）

Q．駐車場はありますか。
A．駐車場の用意はございません。公共の交通機関をご利用ください。

(General questions)

Q. How is the tour conducted? Can I walk around freely by myself? 
A. It is a guided tour in English. 

Q. Is there a charge for the tour?
A. No. The tour is free of charge.

(How to make a reservation)

Q. How many people can join the tour? Is there any age limit for tour participants?
A. A maximum of 20 people can join a tour in one time slot. Reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis. Tour participants must be at least 11 years old; children aged 11-12 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Children younger than 11 cannot join the tour. 

Q.  How can I book a tour for more than 20 people? 
A. For groups of more than 20 people, please contact us by e-mail.

Q. Do you accept bookings for tour groups, school trips, etc.? When should I book a tour? 
A. Yes. Booking is possible for both individuals and groups, up to 20 people, on a first-come, first-served basis. Booking starts 90 days prior to the tour date. 

Q. I want to add more members to a tour I have booked, but the time slot has already reached the maximum number of 20 people. Can you raise the maximum so that additional members can join the tour at that time slot? 
A. No. The maximum number of people for each time slot cannot be changed. If a tour has 20 participants, no more people can join.  

Q. Can I join a tour on Saturday or Sunday?
A. No. Tours are only offered on weekdays, from Monday to Friday, except from December 29 through January 4 and on national holidays. Please note that tours may not be held on some other occasions, due to official events or other reasons.

Q. Is there a format available for submitting the list of tour participants?
A. Please download the format (docx, pdf) available on the BOJ website.

Q. I booked a tour but have not received a confirmation e-mail. 
A. The confirmation e-mail is necessary when you change or cancel a reservation. Please check your e-mail account to see if the message you received was sorted as spam, etc. If you fail to receive a confirmation message, please contact us by e-mail.

(How to change or cancel a reservation)

Q. What is the deadline for making a reservation? 
A. In principle, reservations must be completed at least five days prior to the tour date. However, if the tour date follows four or more consecutive days on which the Head Office is closed (see the Holiday Schedule of the Bank <link to the BOJ website>), the deadline for reservations may be set earlier than five days prior to the tour date. A notice about the specific dates to which such exceptions apply can be found on the top page of this Online Tour Reservation site.

Q. How can I change or cancel my reservation?
A. Changes or cancelations can be done online up to five days prior to the tour date.  
1. Access the "Check your reservation" page using the link provided in the confirmation e-mail, input your reservation ID and e-mail address, and submit your message. 
2. You will receive a message to the e-mail address you registered, with a verification code. Input the code, and change or cancel your reservation on the "Check your reservation" page. On that page, you may change the date and number of tour participants, or add or change the names of tour participants.
For changes or cancelations within four days prior to the tour date, please notify us by e-mail (prdmail(at)boj.or.jp) or phone (Tour Desk: +81-3-3279-1111) from 9:30 to 16:30 (JST) on Monday to Friday, except from December 29 through January 4 and on national holidays.

(Parking)

Q. Is parking available?
A. No, there is no parking available. Visitors are recommended to use public transportation.
